When a merchant connects their Shopify store to ShopyHub, we receive only the data strictly necessary to provide the service (product catalogue, collections, order metadata for aggregated analysis and basic customer data). In compliance with Shopify's platform privacy obligations, we have implemented the three mandatory compliance webhooks:
- customers/data_request: when an end buyer requests access to their data through the store, we log the request and respond to the merchant within a maximum of 30 days from info.shopyhub@protonmail.com.
- customers/redact: 10 days after a buyer requests deletion of their data, we automatically remove all personal information of that customer stored in our systems.
- shop/redact: 48 hours after a merchant uninstalls ShopyHub, we automatically delete all data synced from their store (products, customers, sync logs). We keep only a minimal workspace record for legal and accounting audit purposes.
All webhooks are verified using an HMAC-SHA256 cryptographic signature with the app's shared secret, in accordance with Shopify Inc. specifications.
11. Amendments
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect legal or service changes. We will notify registered users of any material modification.
